What is Waveform Internet?

Waveform Internet is a smarter, more resilient internet service designed to keep you online at all times. It works either as your primary internet connection or as a backup to your existing ISP — with seamless failover, bonded speed, and real human support.

Do I need to cancel my current internet provider?

Only if you’re replacing it. Many customers use Waveform Internet as a backup connection, keeping their existing ISP and adding us for redundancy and uptime. Others use us as their primary connection — especially in areas where traditional options fall short.

What’s the difference between cold failover and hot failover?

Cold failover waits until your primary internet fails before switching, which causes dropped calls, broken VPNs, and delays. Hot failover (what we use) switches instantly with no interruption — keeping video calls, games, and remote work going smoothly.

What is bonding, and how is it different from load balancing?

Load balancing splits traffic across connections but can break certain apps. Bonding combines multiple internet sources at the packet level into a single stream — meaning faster speeds, more stability, and a consistent IP. We use SpeedFusion bonding from Peplink to deliver this.

What’s included in the hardware setup?

Every Waveform Internet system includes a powerful Peplink router, pre-installed SIMs, preconfigured settings, and a plug-and-play manual. Just connect power and Ethernet, and you’re online.

Who is Peplink, and why do you use their routers?

Peplink builds best-in-class networking hardware used by emergency responders, enterprises, and ISPs around the world. Their SpeedFusion technology powers our bonding, failover, and remote management. We trust it because it’s proven, powerful, and reliable.

Is the 5G truly unlimited?

Yes — depending on your plan, we provide either a fully unlimited 5G connection (with no hard cap) or a smaller backup 5G connection used only when failover is triggered. All SIMs include high-priority data, not deprioritized prepaid traffic.

Do I need to configure anything?

No. Everything is fully preconfigured before shipping. You just plug in the router, follow the step-by-step guide, and you’re ready to go. We handle the technical setup behind the scenes.

Can I add my own connections, like fiber or Starlink?

Yes. With our higher tiers, you can add your own additional WANs — fiber, Starlink, DSL, cable — and bond them with your 5G connection to increase speed and reliability.

What kind of support do you offer?

Our U.S.-based support team consists of real experts, not outsourced scripts. We proactively monitor your connection and resolve many issues before you’re even aware of them.

How does remote monitoring work, and what about privacy?

We use Peplink’s InControl 2 platform to securely monitor your router’s performance, uptime, and health. While we can manage and configure the device, all bonded traffic is encrypted, and we cannot see your websites, downloads, or browsing history.

Is there a contract or activation fee?

Nope. All plans are month-to-month, with transparent pricing and no long-term commitments. No hidden fees, no overages, no upsells.

How soon can I get online after ordering?

Most customers are online within 15 minutes of unboxing. Just plug in the router, power it on, and connect your devices — we take care of the rest.
